BAROQUE MUSIC will be an integral part of a new play which we are developing. MOSTRA, adapted for the stage by Christopher Goulding, which is based on the life and times of CHARLES AVISON and his ‘ESSAY ON MUSICAL EXPRESSION’. Charles Avison was an 18th Century composer who lived and worked in Newcastle upon Tyne and who’s essay caused much controversy.

We have generously been offered St. Marys Heritage centre in Gateshead as a suitably historic venue for MOSTRA and we are looking to workshop the script this summer with projected perfomaces in late october early november 2010.

We continue to develop ideas based on combining as many theatrical disciplines as possible and are happy to consider similar commissions. All our past and present productions are available for redevelopment and touring.
